We're very proud to announce that through your support and generous donations we were able to partner with The Hope Foundation" in Andhra Pradesh, India. We provide 150 solar lanterns to widows, orphans, healthcare workers
and others in need in rural India.

The response to our solar lanterns was touching and overwhelming. With your help we are continuing to make a positive impact on those most in need around the world.

Saint Mary's of the Lake

Fifty Lanterns would like to thank St. Mary's of the Lake for choosing Fifty Lanterns as their lenten service project. Linda Cullen and Kelly Coletta Weiley gave a presentation to 355 students and faculty of St. Mary's. In two weeks the students collected $1765.91 for Fifty Lanterns programs.

Saint Cloud State University's, Synergy of Solidarity Organization.

The newly created Synergy of Solidarity (SoS) organization at St. Cloud State University (comprised of students, faculty, staff, and community members) has been working in solidarity with 50 Lanterns International and their recipients by educating the campus community as well as holding kiosks to sell BoGo lights, coffee, bracelets, and more. SoS will hold their 2nd Annual Not-So-Silent Auction on April 22, 2008 in which a portion of the proceeds will be given to 50 Lanterns International.
